Big Island Wedding Photographer
I enjoyed photographing Jenna and Justin’s wedding at the Southern tip of the Big Island, in the heart of Naalehu town, because it gave me a chance to get out of Kona and enjoy some of the beautiful scenery that Hawaii has to offer. Jenna and Justin held a large Big Island wedding at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Naalehu, followed by an upbeat reception at the Keauhou Sheraton resort in Kona.

In addition to being a big island wedding photographer, we enjoy venturing out into the world and doing other types of photo assignments. We had a blast working with Frank, Brock, and the gang down at Kona Boys on this shoot for their web store. Be sure to check them out!
When I arrived to photograph Caleb, Ankea, and their little bundle of joy it had just finished raining, and the sky was covered with one thick, grey cloud blanket. Earlier that week, I had been experimenting with multiple flashes, so I was eager to try out some new techniques. I noticed a young, beautiful mango tree, and I thought, “Eureka! Put a flash in it.” So, I did, and despite the monotonous cloud cover we were able to create some fresh, vivid images for their Kona family portraits.
Angela and Gavin’s wedding at the Keauhou Sheraton in Kona was a blast to photograph…a Big Island wedding photographer‘s dream. The weather was just right, and the sunset was spectacular. Though the ceremony in the Bay Side Chapel was exceptional, we had a lot of fun photographing the reception. We were able to blend right in and capture everyone’s true essence.
Jennifer and Beau’s wedding at the Royal Kona Resort was short and sweet. They were a pleasure to photograph, and we wish them only the best.
Congrats!
The Fairmont Orchid in Kona is a joy to shoot at and adds to being a Kona wedding photographer. We love it when we have the opportunity to document an entire wedding day such as Denise and Preston’s, from preparations through the after party. We understand how busy and overwhelming a wedding day can be, so we strive to capture every detail and fleeting moment. That way, we deliver the images so that you’re able to relive one of the most joyous days of your life.
From cannon balls in the pool to disco balls at the after party, Hano and Tiffany were a blast to work with. They held a nice, intimate wedding at the Keauhou Outrigger Beach Hotel in Kona, followed by a fun reception in Kona town, at Hale Halawai Beach Park.
We had a lot of fun on this family shoot, down in South Kona. Ankea and Caleb have created one of the sweetest little bundles of love, Arun. We first photographed baby Arun when Ankea was still pregnant with him and again when he was only a few weeks old. Arun was anything but shy of the camera. In fact, it was challenging to get any shots of him not looking at the camera.
