“The pictures Robby took of me and my family were incredible. I told him what I wanted, and he picked the perfect spot (Hapuna Beach). He took the pictures around sunset and the lighting was perfect. The pictures of my daughter were especially wonderful. The session was laid back, relaxing, and he made all of us laugh–and all of this is reflected in the pictures. “Robby was very kind on the phone when we spoke the first time to speak about the kind of photos I wanted to have for my wedding. He answered all of my questions, even if they sounded silly. I heard of Robby through my officiant Becky Ringler. They work very well together. They communicated very well up until the wedding. We ran into a traffic jam on the way to our sunset wedding, but Robby was very flexible with the photos. We had enough sunlight to take a few photos before the ceremony and some sunset photos after. We had a few locations for Robby to take photos of us and he had many great suggestions for our poses. The photos came out lovely. I would recommend Robby for being a great photographer at a very affordable price!”

“My family was going to be traveling to Hawaii to visit my dad and I wanted a great way to preserve the memories. I searched online for photographers in the Kona area and happened upon Robby’s site. I loved his photos immediately and emailed him to book a date. He was very quick in his response then and also whenever I had the occasional question. Once the day came, the shoot couldn’t have gone better. Robby was very fun to work with and he captured our family beautifully. I was amazed at the results! Robby did an awesome job on our pictures! He was easy-going and friendly and managed to make our little rascal look like a perfect gentleman. I love his artistic perspective and how he captures the beauty of the surroundings. He was super professional from beginning to end and quickly got our pictures to us. “In planning for our wedding over a 3-week time frame and being on a limited budget, a professional photographer was something we greatly wanted but if necessary, could do without. In my search, I came across Robby’s webpage and was taken by the beautiful photos displayed in his albums. Robby went above and beyond to get to know a little about my husband and me. Through several emails and phone conversations, Robby worked with us and our budget to provide us with wonderful memories of our special day. Upon meeting Robby for the first time on our wedding day, he immediately set off to work capturing every special moment. We had a great time with Robby! We were totally new to Hawaii, so we let him choose the place and time for us. The location was great, and the sunset colors were amazing. I don’t always feel very comfortable in front of a camera, and maternity sessions are a little special, but Robby made us feel really comfortable and was always suggesting spots or outfits that would be good. Robby sent us a picture a few days after the shooting and we were totally excited about the other pictures to come! About a week later we were able to look at the pictures on the web gallery and share them with our friends and family, and another week after that we received the DVD with the rest of the pictures. We thought it was great work and were amazed how fast we could get the photos. Great work and efficiency! Thank you again!

I HIGHLY recommend Robby for wedding or family photography. He did such an amazing job for our wedding here on the Big Island in February. The photos are magazine quality! We hardly even noticed he was there, yet he captured so many moments exquisitely. We ended up with hundreds of shots to choose from, and they were all fantastic! I cannot say enough good things about Robby. From beginning to end, he was very professional and a lot of fun to work with.
During our family vacation to Kona, we discovered some scenic spots and made a spontaneous decision to have family photos taken to capture our family among these beautiful backdrops. I received Robby’s card among the two referrals from our hotel. Robby returned my call promptly. He was professional, courteous, and flexible to our tight vacation timetable. We thoroughly enjoyed working with Robby. He worked well with our young, active kids and patiently explored numerous sites with us. He also made sure to take my requests into consideration. We received our photos earlier than promised and they turned out better than we could have hoped for! The colors are vibrant and the composition of each photo highlights our family among the gorgeous tropical backdrops. We highly recommend Robby and would happily use them again if given the opportunity.
Robert is a professional photographer that we are pleased to have used. I was a little nervous about using someone without meeting them first and reserving online, but we went by his gallery, and we were very impressed. I have used local photographers in the past and had been very unhappy. I was pleased with how relaxed the photo shoot went and how Robert made sure we got all the poses we wanted. All of my friends were amazed how Robert’s pictures captured the sunset.
